From my early years as a child to my adulthood, I’ve experienced the challenges of food insecurity, igniting a strong desire to contribute to the solution. After discovering the amazing benefits of regenerative (nature inspired) gardening, my husband Rich and I founded H.O.P.E. Gardens. H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Other People Eat.
I strongly believe that children should have the opportunity to learn where their food comes from through school garden education, which would be expanded to families in communities. My hopes and dreams are that one day all people will have access to fresh food.
