Just as a garden flourishes through companion planting and diversity, we believe it is important to include the community in advocating for fair, green, affordable, and healthy food for all.
H.O.P.E. Gardens is part of a larger community, which includes schools, non-profit organizations, government agencies and community councils, and next door neighbors.
Heirloom Plant Sale
Each spring, H.O.P.E. Gardens invites the public to purchase organically grown heirloom plants, encouraging residents to grow food at home.
School Garden Programs
We provide hands-on gardening education for K–8 students through classroom, after-school, and summer family programming.
Garden Workshops
We teach families and community groups how to grow food using affordable, nature-based methods.
Volunteer Opportunities
We provide volunteer opportunities to work in our gardens and greenhouse, transplant seedlings, and support community programs.
