Bringing the Greenhouse Fully to Life

Every day we walk out to the field on Bungalow Street and watch something special taking shape. The frame of our new greenhouse is rising, piece by piece, and with it comes the promise of thousands of tiny seedlings that will soon grow into gardens across our community.

We are so deeply grateful for the many people who have helped make this greenhouse possible. Because of your kindness, something beautiful is taking shape. This greenhouse will help us grow plants for our 13 school gardens, support our community gardens, and create even more opportunities for children and families to learn how to grow healthy food.

As the project has moved along, we have discovered that the necessary greenhouse connections, including water, electricity, and gas, will cost more than we first anticipated. These are the final pieces that will make the space fully functional year round.

At this point, the project is about $25,000 above our original budget. For anyone who feels inspired to help us close that final gap, we would be so grateful. It is a lovely way to be part of all the growing that will happen here for years to come.
